Description
This course contains all the content found in an introduction sequence to human anatomy and physiology at the collegiate level. Typically, A&P is taught in a two semester sequence, and this course has both 1 and 2 in the same place. We develop a comprehensive understanding of the close inter-relationship between anatomy and physiology as seen in the human organism. Introduces students to the cell, the basic structural and functional unit of all organisms, and covers tissues, integument, skeleton, muscular and nervous systems as an integrated unit. We introduce students to studying the endocrine, cardiovascular, lymphatic, respiratory, digestive, urinary and reproductive systems. Whether you are a current college student, a child looking to learn, or an older individual just trying to expand your knowledge, this course can give insight into your own body and let you grap the details behind the system that makes you human. Instead of spending copious amounts on a college science course, go ahead and get some baseline information here for a fraction of the cost!Topics Covered:Introduction to Human Anatomy and PhysiologyChemical Basis of LifeCell BiologyTissuesIntegumentary SystemSkeletal SystemJoint Structure and FunctionMuscular SystemNervous SystemEndocrine systemBloodCardiovascular SystemLymphatic System and ImmunityRespiratory systemDigestive systemUrinary system/fluid, electrolytes and pHReproductive System
