Description
Are you stopping on the wall more often than you would expect given your fitness level?Have you watched videos and worked on drills but still find yourself out of breath?This is ideal for any swimmer or triathlete who finds themselves breathless sooner than they would expect given their fitness level. We begin the course reviewing the top cause of breathlessness while swimming and how proper technique can solve the issues.Each day there is a short lesson and a corresponding drill to practice at the pool. Ideally someone enrolling in this course will be able to swim at least two lengths of the pool freestyle. Discover what effective breathing requires and how YOU can achieve itLearn to master the timing of your breath with clear actionable stepsUncover what REALLY causes breathlessness (spoiler: it's not your fitness level)Start doing the best drills to improve your breathingWhat to expectEach day includes a quick lesson and focused drill to improve your freestyle stroke techniqueYou can complete each session at your own pace in the pool sessions you already do. You will receive a custom corresponding course handbook with extra tips and drill breakdownRecommended equipment includes a kick board and pull buoy. Medium/long fins and a training snorkel are optional.Although this is a 5 day mini course the drills within the course should be performed well beyond 5 days with the goal of creating muscle memory to develop an effortless freestyle.You will be able to reach out to Coach Scott with any questions or clarification.
