Description
Hi, my name is Dexter, and I’ve been teaching drone operations for three years. I developed this course to introduce you to the DJI Neo drone, DJI’s lightest FPV drone on the market. This course is designed to equip amateur drone pilots with the foundational skills needed to operate the DJI Neo and perform basic façade inspections. Participants will learn to identify common façade defects quickly and efficiently, even in tight or constrained areas.The course covers operational procedures for pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight phases. Key topics include setting up the drone, connecting it to the remote controller and smart devices, safely charging the battery, conducting thorough pre-flight inspections, pre-configuring essential settings, and understanding the various flight indicators in the DJI Fly application. Learners will also gain insights into the drone’s behavior during indoor flights, particularly when conducting inspections in low-light environments. To overcome lighting challenges during image and video capture, the course introduces creative methods for attaching a mini LED light to the drone to enhance image exposure.In addition to mastering drone operations, participants will explore how image exposure affects the quality of captured images and learn to recognize common façade defects. To reinforce learning, the course includes mini-quizzes designed to test participants’ knowledge throughout the program.
