Description

"Krav-Maga", literally "Fight-Contact" in hebrew, translated by close quarters combat in French, or close-combat in English is the combat system of the Israeli army.It was created in the 1985's by Imi Lichtenfeld. Simplified, without the offensive military techniques, as the sentries attacks for instance, the Krav Maga of nowadays is a very efficient self-defense system.It is teached as a martial art in several occidental countries. It is also adopted by several police and army in the world.  The Krav Maga is nowadays represented by several federations.We present you in this film the entry-level and intermediate techniques of the WKMF, independent, progressive and operational federation in which many policemen and servicemen are involved.You will find defense techniques on grips, surroundings, stranglings, punches or kicks, threatens or knife attacks, or stick or guns attacks…The attacks can be done full-frontal, back, on a wall, sat, laid down…The Krav Maga important principles are then demonstrated and explained in situation, in real speed or in slow-motion, following several angles.ALAIN FORMAGGIO (France) Officer of the French National Police for almost 30 years, Alain is Chief Instructor of the Training Center of the Paris Law Enforcement Forces. Alain Formaggio is the World Technical Director of the World Krav Maga Federation.JEAN-MICHEL LERHO (Belgium) Former military for almost 30 years, former close combat instructor, former commando instructor, Jean-Michel carries out prisoner transports for the Belgian Ministry of Justice. Jean-Michel Lerho is the European Technical Director of the World Krav Maga Federation.ALEXANDRE VANDERLINDEN (Belgium) Military for 30 years, Alexandre trains instructors of the Belgian Army at the Ecole Interarmées des Sports (Inter-Army Sports School). Alexandre is the Belgian Technical Director of the World Krav Maga Federation.
