Description

In this course you will learn all the basics that is needed to start programming Allen Bradley PLCs using the Studio 5000 software. PLC stands for Programmable Logic Controller which is used vastly in the industrial environments to automate any process. PLCs are used in any industry that you can think of, like automotive, pharmaceutical, food, aerospace, oil and gas and many more. All the basics are covered in this course so there are no pre-requisites for you to start this course. After we cover all the programming elements needed you will be able to program simple projects from scratch. We will have a sample real life project at the end of this course which will help you start programming by understanding the tricks and techniques that are used while developing programs from scratch.Once you learn programming in Studio 5000 you will also be able to program in the older version of this software called RSLogix 5000 since the programming environment for both these software share many similarities.Allen Bradley PLCs are vastly used in automation and specially in the North American market which is mostly dominated by this brand of PLC. So if you work for the North American market, you will benefit even more from this course.
