No experience required. This course will facilitate evolution of a good youth soccer coach.
Description
You will learn how to become a great soccer coach. You will learn how to lead, motivate, and empower your staff, players, and parents. You will become effective at promoting player development, life skills, and team successes. You will be taught philosophies and strategies to ensure your players buy into team motto and ensure they understand there team identity. Your players will become unselfish, disciplined, committed, hard working, and respectful athletes. There individual skills, speed, agility, and endurance will improve and team tactics will be organized. Through step by step lessons and bonus material you will be able to properly plan, manage, organize, and lead your team into a very successful season. You will understand what criteria you need to develop proper practise plans that are organized, fun, with key teaching points. You will understand psychological, tactical, technical, physical preparations while utilizing drills to improve ball mastery, passing/receiving, 1V1 moves, speed, finishing, and game play. You will understand the importance of three game elements: organized defending, possession, and attack/counter attack. You will utilize the bonus material to make player handbooks for each of your players and assistant coaches. Your players will understand your expectations of them on and off the field. By the end of the season you, your staff, and your parents will enjoy watching an organized, disciplined, creative team, and it’s a beautiful thing.
