Description
30 million TED and TEDx views. 60% selected as TEDx "Editor's Picks." Keynotes for events and conferences across industries. Delivered on 6 continents. I served as a TEDx curator and speaker coach/writer for 10 years. I've worked with over 150 TEDx speakers as their coach or writer. 60% of my TEDx speakers have been selected as "Editor's Picks," only about 200 TEDx talks get this designation each year. This course is a basic, step-by-step sprint that helps you find your throughline, shape a clear idea worth spreading, and apply to TEDx events. And we do this all without the overwhelm. In this course we'll talk about everything from the essential features of a TED Talk to the emotional pressure you feel. But most of our time will be spent on how to develop your unique idea for the TEDx stage and the most common mistakes people make in their applications. This course will guide you through developing your idea and applying to TEDx events and we'll do this in 90 minutes. I've worked with 1000s of people from high school and college students to CEOs of large and small companies. “People won’t remember every word you said… but they’ll never forget the moment they saw themselves in your story and felt something shift.” -Jeff Motter
