Description
In this course, we will draw different animals (cats, squirrels, etc.) step by step. New lessons will be added regularly.
Lesson plan: all objects in the drawing are divided into simple geometric shapes, such as circles, ovals, triangles, and others. This allows us to draw anything. In different lessons, we will use two types of paints: watercolor and gouache (tempera). You will see the difference between them and the subtleties of using them. Using light and shadow effects, I will teach you how to create realistic drawings.
In the first lesson: a picture on the theme of Halloween — a cat on a pumpkin.
The second lesson is devoted to the theme of autumn — "squirrel on a tree". We will use gouache (tempera).
Materials for the course: a set of watercolors, a set of gouache paints, a pencil and eraser, synthetic brushes (3 different sizes), a plastic palette or a white plate, a glass of water, a napkin.
It is also important to use thick paper so that it does not get wet. Beginners often make this mistake by using thin photocopying paper. Buy a sketchbook with a thickness of at least 190 g/m2.
I wish you inspiration!
In your review after the course, you can write what kind of animal you would like to see in the next lessons.
Who this course is for:
- For parents and their children who love to draw and want to learn how to do it realistically.
