Please note that we have deliberately repeated some ideas to reinforce the learning on this 'What is the DBA?' courseThis course does not require any prior knowledge of the DBA.This course provides an introduction to the DBA, it details the typical application requirements, as well as the typical timeline and thesis requirements to complete the degree.On completion of this course, you will understand the differences between a PhD and a DBA and which is most suitable for you at this stage of your career.It also provides helpful hints and advice for prospective and current DBA students to help maximise their time by giving insights from DBA graduates. The DBA Network, created by DBA researchers for DBA researchers, wants to help you understand how best to learn from each other on the long and sometimes lonely journey to complete the degree.On successful completion of this course you will know if the DBA is the right degree for you, before you commit to the substantial cost and time required to compete one.We acknowledge that this is an introduction to a typical DBA programme.
