Learn everything you need to know to to become an LPIC2 Certified Linux Engineer

Linux® is a completely free, open sourced operating system that powers everything from supercomputers and cars to all Android smartphones.

Not only is it free, but it is also one of the most reliable computer ecosystems on the planet. Linux is as close to “set it and forget it” as you will ever find.

This course builds on the foundational knowledge covered in A Cloud Guru’s first Linux course which provides you with what you need to achieve the CompTIA Linux+ and LPIC-1: Linux Administrator certifications. As with our LPIC-1 preparation course, you can be sure you are preparing for the exams in the most efficient way, as the course follows the Linux Professional Institute Certification (LPIC) defined objectives step by step. Everything in the exam objectives is covered in this course.

This course is for a Linux professional with some experience who wants to build on his or her existing knowledge and experience of the Linux and Unix world. By the end of the course, you will have the knowledge to earn the LPIC-2. In addition, you’ll also get real-world tips, tricks, and guidance (that aren’t included in the exam objectives) in becoming a more effective user of Linux.

Once certified you will be able to:

Perform advanced system administration, including common tasks regarding the Linux kernel, system startup, and maintenance.
You will be able to undertake advanced management of block storage and file systems, as well as advanced networking and authentication and system security — including firewall and VPN.
Install and configure fundamental network services, including DHCP, DNS, SSH, Web servers, file servers using FTP, NFS and Samba, email delivery, supervise assistants, and advise management on automation and purchases.
