This course is intended to provide conceptual as well and working knowledge of AWS Redshift. The course is intended for new joiners in the analytics industry looking for some practical hands-on experience on Redshift.
We start from basics of data warehousing, ETL, Scope of Redshift, Pricing and tools/ Applications/ Drivers.
Then move on to understand the Redshift concepts including Architecture, Clusters, Compute nodes, setting up free AWS account, S3 bucket, etc.
Then deep diving on exceptional Redshift concepts like columnar storage, column encoding, etc
Then learning the SQL and discussing detail about DDL, DML, TCL and DCL commands. In depth discussion on Create table options within Redshift
Finally, additional 2 lectures talks about COPY and UNLOAD commands in Redshift
