Trust is the foundation of teamwork and collaboration. When team members trust each other, there’s less friction, which makes it easier to collaborate and share one’s perspective, regardless of what’s at stake. Without trust, people hold back their brilliance. They don’t share their unique ideas and insights. In this course, instructor David Burkus teaches both managers and their direct reports how to build collective trust on a team.

- Explain the trust-respect cycle and its role in fostering high-performing, collaborative teams.
- Implement trust-building activities, such as finding commonalities, creating team rituals, and demonstrating vulnerability to strengthen team dynamics.
