Description
This course reveals the specific workflows and methodologies employed by the AiAngel project to create origional and immersive interior enviroments in Unreal Engine, while also leveraging readily availble assets from the Unreal marketplace.Kitbashing pre-existing asset packs can be a jumbled and aimless task, but with this course you'll see ways to create detailed origionality out of the endless combinations of assets available to us. To prove this claim, the course uses only a couple FREE asset packs from the Unreal Marketplace to create the resulting "Hacker Room". A finished product with an aesthetically coherent style and immersive feel to it.The course is over an hour long and is taught by Angelica. Its split into 5 sections that flow togather, each covering several topics:Intro, Asset Overview, Project Setup, Scale Refference, Blocking Out, Placing Landmark Assets.Editing major surface materials, Placing Medium Scale Assets, Set Dressing Best Practices, World Outliner ManagementSmall Asset Placement, Blending Detail, Utilizing Decals, Material EditingLighting Foundations, World Scale, Charecter Lighting, Refining DetailsPost Processing in-depth, Accent Detail Methods, Kitbashing Large Assets, Final Refinements, Project Cleanup, Project Management. The video sections are in 2K resolution for full readability of on-screen text, and the default single monitor layout is used for the Engine UI. Cuts are made throughout the enviroment creation process to keep the infromation condensed and meaningful. On-screen labels are overlayd to facilitate scrubbing of the videos to find the specific topics mentioned above.
