The original book, realized from the "Equipo Maiz"and illustrated by Iván C. Montecinos, was stamped in 1993 in only 3.000 exemplary in black and white; the introduction is in Spanish while the chronology and the explanations of the various photos are in Spanish, French and English.

Este no es el clásico libro que podéis encontrar en librería. En efecto, qué yo sepa, nunca ha sido puesto a la venta.
Cuenta - por imágenes - los 13 años de una de las muchas guerras civiles que se han combatido en el mundo: el conflicto de El Salvador, dichosamente concluido, aunque no como las partes en lucha esperaban.
Como todas las guerras civiles, fue extremadamente cruel de ambas partes.
Yo tuve un pequeño papel, en aquellos lugares, en aquellos años. Y por seguro no es algo como para ir muy orgulloso. Pero éste es otro discurso.
He decidido de escanear el libro original que me fue regalado por un representante del FMLN, y de compartirlo con vosotros.
Quizás para exorcizar algo; realmente no me lo se.

El libro original, realizado por el "Equipo Maiz" y ilustrado por Iván C. Montecinos, fue imprimido en 1993 en solamente 3.000 ejemplares en blanco y negro; la introducción está en español mientras la cronología y las leyendas de las varias fotos está en español, francés y inglés.
