Louis T Culling inherited his knowledge of sex magick from an obscure occult order known as G.'.B.'.G.'. who in turn inherited it from Aleister Crowley's Ordo Templo Orientis on the one hand, and Ida Craddock, a pioneer in female sexuality in the early 20th century on the other. Culling's main thrust in this book is that sex magick can be used to attain "Knowledge and conversation of the Holy Guardian Angel" (or as Culling terms it, "knowledge and conversation of the Daemon"), as well as achieve more materialistic magical effects along the lines of creative visualisation or cosmic ordering.
