The legend tells about the adventures of Morien, the Moorish son of Aglovale, one of King Arthur's Knights of the Round Table. This work offers a modern interpretation of the poem by an English independent scholar, medievalist, and folklorist, working mainly on medieval Arthurian texts, Jessie Weston.
