It took a little longer than usual to release this book because there were two major changes in this year’s curriculum. As perthe new CBSE guidelines, the syllabus of Class-X Board Examinations has been reduced because of the pandemic. Also, CBSE has introduced case-study-based questions for the Mathematics Class X Board Examinations 2021. Such questions comprise mathematics questions that are based on real-life stories and require application of mathematics in real-life situations. I have taken care to ensure that the case-studies that created for this book are as close as possible to the questions that will be asked in the board examinations. Along with this new type of questions, we have also kept in mind the changed marking scheme. This change is because of the reduced syllabus, and all the sample papers in this book are based on exactly the same marking scheme that will be applied in the board examination papers.
