    The book, like all books in the series, provides a general overview of the aircraft from both a historical and a technical features point of view. Each variant is discussed, including the planned (but unbuilt) F-105C and F-105E models. Obviously, a large portion of the text deals with F-105 action in Vietnam, but other lesser-known areas (operations with the Thunderbirds, for instance) are also addressed.
    The book is filled with black and white photographs and line drawings, and has several color illustrations that are well done.
