Master the essentials of bringing cloud solutions to life on Google Cloud Platform. This course will teach you how to implement compute, container, serverless, data, network, and IaC resources using the Google Cloud platform.
What you'll learn
Organizations moving to the cloud need professionals who can deploy, configure, and manage cloud infrastructure efficiently across compute, container, serverless, storage, and networking platforms. In this course, Google Associate Cloud Engineer: Deploying and Implementing a Cloud Solution, you’ll learn to confidently implement core Google Cloud services and infrastructure for real-world cloud solutions.
First, you’ll explore how to deploy and manage Compute Engine instances and managed instance groups, including configuring VM access and OS-level settings. Next, you’ll discover how to install Kubernetes tooling and deploy containerized applications on various GKE configurations, from Autopilot to private clusters. Then, you’ll investigate how to implement serverless applications using Cloud Run and Cloud Functions, including event-driven deployment using Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, and Eventarc. Finally, you’ll learn how to set up and manage storage, networking, and infrastructure-as-code resources, including deploying Cloud SQL, configuring VPCs and firewall rules, and using tools like Terraform and Helm.
When you’re finished with this course, you’ll have the skills and knowledge of Google Cloud solution deployment needed to pass the Associate Cloud Engineer exam and support scalable, secure, and efficient cloud-based infrastructure in a production environment.
