J.J. Cale - 5 (1979)

With his fifth album Cale is back on the Tulsa Rootrock track again. It's a relaxed and sensitive Cale we meet here. Christine Lakeland and some of the best musicians in USA helped him to create some of his best songs so far. Songs like Boiling Pot, Don't Cry Sister, Sensitive Kind, Friday, Let's Go To Tahiti, Thirten Days and the beautiful song Mona, where Carl Radle does one of his best studio work ever. This is a record that just grows the more you hear it and the music makes you feel, and thats what music is all about, isn't it?
