A minor-league baseball player must spend $30 million in 30 days in order to inherit $300 million. However, he's not allowed to own any assets, destroy the money, gift it, give it to charity, or tell anyone about the deal.,Brewster is a minor-league baseball player. Unknown to him, he had a (recently-deceased) rich relative. In order to test if Brewster knows the value of money, he is given the task of disposing of $30m in 30 days. Brewster isn't allowed to have any assets to show for the $30m or waste the money in any way. If successful, Brewster gets to inherit $300m. The biggest problem is that Brewster can't tell anyone what he's doing, so everyone thinks he's crazy. Add to this the fact that if he fails, two scheming trustees will get their hands on the money, Brewster's task is not an easy one.::Rob Hartill,Montgomery "Monty" Brewster is a failed baseball player currently playing for the Hackensack Bulls, a minor-league team based in New Jersey. With his teammate and best friend Spike Nolan, Monty seems to make more headlines off the field than on it. However, Monty's life is changed overnight when he learns that a wealthy long-lost uncle had passed away and left him $300'000'000 in his will but to gain access to his inheritance and to teach him the value of money, he must first spend $30,000,000 in just 30 days. Sounds fairly easy but there are rules that he must follow. Firstly he can't tell anyone about the challenge, secondly by the end of the 30 days he mustn't own any assets, and thirdly he can't destroy or give away any items that are inherently valuable. Can Monty rise the to the challenge? Of course, there is one condition: to understand the value of money, the eccentric uncle demands that Brewster wastefully spend no less than $30 million in 30 days and if he ends up broke by the end of that period, he will be entitled to the full inheritance. This seems like an easy task but as Brewster goes from one ludicrous money-spending strategy to the next, winning this ironical challenge turns out to be much more difficult than he thought.
