Wenqi Pan (FENG Feifei) is the daughter of a rich businessman. Her father arranges a marriage with Qian Ma (Anthony CHAN, aka CHAN Yau), son of another rich businessman. Wenqi runs away from home to her aunt at the countryside, promising to come home in a few days to fulfill her duty. There she meets Daigang Gu (Kenny Bee), a land surveyor. After several clashes the two fall madly in love. Although Wenqi's aunt is sympathetic to the lovers, she tells Wenqi to go home. Will Daigang win her back?
