Kemp's in the Malaka Straits in South East Asia where pirate hijacks are a weekly event. Here a gang of balaclava-ed pirates describe how they go "shopping" (and they're not talking about popping down the local high street) and how, with a bit of bamboo and some twine, they can board cargo ships that tower above their speed boats.
Interestingly, they don't think much of Somalian pirates though: "They're stupid…not in our class," says one, before Kemp returns to Somalia to see how the violence has escalated there.
