Skyline (2010)

Strane luci scendono sulla città di Los Angeles, attirando la gente in strada come falene attorno a una fiamma. Una volta fuori, a cielo aperto, una terrificante forza extraterrestre inizia ad inghiottire l'intera popolazione umana, spazzandola via dalla faccia della terra. Nel giro di poche ore spariranno tutti.
Il viaggio di Jarrod (Eric Balfour) e Elaine (Scottie Thompson) verso il sud della California, doveva essere un normale weekend per andare a trovare il suo migliore amico, Terry (Donald Faison) e la sua ragazza Candice (Brittany Daniel). Ma quando l'alba arriva con due ore di anticipo, sotto forma di un'inquietante luce proveniente da una fonte sconosciuta, la vita, così come da tutti loro conosciuta fino a quel momento, cambierà per sempre. Strange lights descend on the city of Los Angeles, attracting people into the street like moths around a flame. Once outside, open sky, a terrifying alien force begins to engulf the entire human population wiped off the face of the earth. Within a few hours all will disappear.
Jarrod's Journey (Eric Balfour) and Elaine (Scottie Thompson) to the south of California, had to be a normal weekend to visit his best friend, Terry (Donald Faison) and his girlfriend Candice (Brittany Daniel). But when dawn arrives two hours early, in the form of disturbing light from an unknown source, life, as well as all of them known so far, will change forever. From the windows of the skyscraper Terry, Jarrod and others observe with horror the people of the city that is drawn out by the palaces and swallowed into the belly of a huge alien spaceship that has covered the sky over Los Angeles. Now, all the instincts of survival will be needed to escape thousands of monstrous creatures that are invading the city in search of human beings. With large tanks, vehicles and the same extratterestri resemble monstrous Hydra, there is no escape from these aliens that seem to be indestructible.
