Daybreakers - L'ultimo vampiro (2010)

Una misteriosa malattia si è diffusa rapidamente in tutta la Terra, trasformando la maggior parte degli esseri umani in vampire. Gli umani sono ridotti a cavie, ormai sono una razza in via di estinzione, costretti a nascondersi, braccati dai vampiri. E' tutto nelle mani di Edward Dalton, un vampiro e al tempo stesso un ricercatore che rifiuta di nutrirsi di sangue umano. Sta cercando di creare un sangue artificiale che possa alimentare i vampiri ed al tempo stesso evitare l'estinzione della razza umana. Quando il tempo sembra scaduto e la speranza finita, Ed incontra Audrey, una sopravvissuta umana che lo aiuta e lo esorta alla ricerca. Ricerca per il cui esito, sia gli umani che i vampiri, si spingerebbero ben oltre l'omicidio. Ed prenderà parte ad una vera e propria battaglia che deciderà la sorte del genere umano.
