Nelle prime ore della sera del 21 agosto del 2015, il mondo ha assistito stupefatto alla notizia divulgata dai media, di un tentato attacco terroristico sul treno Thalys 9364 diretto a Parigi, sventato da tre coraggiosi giovani americani che viaggiavano per l'Europa. Ore 15:17 - Attacco al treno (The 15:17 to Paris), il nuovo film di Clint Eastwood, ripercorre le vite di questi tre amici, dai problemi dell'infanzia, alla ricerca del loro posto nel mondo, fino alla serie di sfortunati eventi che hanno preceduto l'attacco. Durante quell'esperienza straziante, la loro amicizia non ha mai vacillato, trasformandosi nella loro arma più potente e che ha consentito loro di salvare le vite di oltre 500 passeggeri presenti a bordo.
Storyline
In the early evening of August 21, 2015, the world watched in stunned silence as the media reported a thwarted terrorist attack on Thalys train #9364 bound for Paris–an attempt prevented by three courageous young Americans traveling through Europe. The film follows the course of the friends' lives, from the struggles of childhood through finding their footing in life, to the series of unlikely events leading up to the attack. Throughout the harrowing ordeal, their friendship never wavers, making it their greatest weapon and allowing them to save the lives of the more than 500 passengers on board.
