Il Tassinaro (1983)

Da quarant'anni Pietro fa il conducente di taxi a Roma e a fine servizio, ogni giorno, rientra puntualmente nella sua casetta di Ostia Antica. Il mestiere gli piace, come la sua famiglia: un anziano padre, bravo cuoco, una moglie pacioccona, un figlio universitario (più interessato alla serie televisiva "Dallas" che alla laurea in ingegneria), un secondo figlio a Londra, sposato con la proprietaria della pizzeria presso cui lavorava, e padre di un elegante inglesino, fiore all'occhiello dei nonni "tassinari". Creato sommariamente l'ambiente nei primi minuti di proiezione, il film prosegue fra avventure e disavventure del "tassinaro", sempre in corsa col suo ''Zara 87" per le strade di una Roma diurna e notturna caotica, pittoresca e patetica, senza mai calate di ottimismo.

From Forty years , the taxi driver Peter's in Rome and at the end of service each day, promptly falls in his house in Ostia Antica. The job he likes, as his family: an elderly father, good cook, easy-going wife, a son University (more interested in the television series "Dallas" that the engineering degree), a second son in London, married to the owner at the pizzeria where he worked, and the father of a charming English girl, the pride of their grandparents "Tassinari". Created summarily the environment in the first minutes of projection, the film goes on between adventures and misadventures of the "taxi-driver", always on the run with his 87''Zara "on the streets of Rome, a chaotic day and night, picturesque and pathetic, never decreased optimism.
