Mirko e Genziano sono due fratelli sui trentacinque anni che non si vedono e non si parlano dal momento in cui la madre, di origini inglesi, morì tragicamente in un incidente stradale in cui furono coinvolti anche loro poco più che diciottenni. Nessuno sa bene cosa sia veramente successo quel giorno. Da allora Genziano è andato a vivere a Londra dal nonno Henry e lavora come broker finanziario. E’ diventato un uomo di successo, completamente immerso nella sua attività ed è un tipo molto chiuso nei confronti dei sentimenti. Mirko invece è rimasto a Roma: vive con il padre Marcello e lavora con lui nella stessa malandata officina. Oggi è un uomo apatico, bloccato e leggermente balbuziente; vive in una modesta casa di periferia con la moglie Mirella, sua fidanzata storica, e il loro bambino Davide di 4 anni. Diciotto anni dopo muore Marcello. Nelle sue ultime volontà, il padre scrive che siano i figli a portare le sue ceneri sulla tomba della madre che riposa in un piccolo cimitero di un paesino della Calabria, vicino alla loro casa al mare dove la donna perse tragicamente la vita. Two estranged brothers, traveling in a classically restored Morgan convertible, are obliged to deliver their father's ashes to his hometown in Calabria. Genziano (co-writer Marco Bonini) and Mirko (co-writer/director Edoardo Leo) haven't spoken for 18 years, ever since a mysterious accident involving their mother. After the incident, Genziano immigrates to England, where he is a successful businessman, while Mirko stays in Italy working in their father's auto shop. As the brothers travel across Italy, sometimes accompanied by the beautiful and mysterious hitchhiker Cate, they learn to communicate again and fight about various family secrets. Meanwhile, in Rome, Mirko's wife develops a tender relationship with the grandfather who came from London with Genziano. A touching and funny work about sibling relations, "Eighteen Years Later" showcases the collaborative teamwork of Leo and Bonini…

Recovery Volumes (.rev)
Recovery volumes or .rev files are special files which can be created by WinRAR/RAR and allow you to reconstruct missing and damaged files in a volume set. They can
only be used with multi-volume archives.
This feature may be useful for backups or, for example, when you post a multivolume archive to a newsgroup and some of the subscribers did not receive some files. Reposting recovery volumes instead of usual volumes may reduce the total number of files to repost.
Each recovery volume is able to reconstruct one missing RAR volume. For example, if you have 30 volumes and 3 recovery volumes, you are able to reconstruct any 3 missing volumes. If the number of .rev files is less than a number of missing volumes, reconstructing is impossible. The total number of usual and recovery volumes must not exceed 255 and the number of recovery volumes must be less than the number of RAR volumes.
WinRAR reconstructs missing and damaged volumes either when clicking on .rev file, or when using rc command or automatically, if it cannot locate the next volume and finds the required number of .rev files when unpacking.
You may use the "Recovery volumes" option in the Archive name and parameters dialog or a similar option also appears in the Protect archive command to create recovery volumes. In the command line mode you may do it with -rv switch or rv command.
Original copies of damaged volumes are renamed to *.bad before reconstruction. For example, volname.part03.rar will be renamed to volname.part03.rar.bad.
