James Bond finds himself embroiled in a very personal matter: a ruthless gunslinger named Francisco Scaramanga wants to kill your 007. On the surface it would seem one of the many fools who kill for pleasure, but Scaramanga hitting their victims with bullets of gold, and the gun he uses is completely gold. His supplier is a Lasar. Being a professional gunman, kills Scaramanga not free: the price? $ 1,000,000 to the victim, and it is these that enable him money, along with his butler Nick Nack, spend a happy and peaceful life.
Came the duel between 007 and Scaramanga, thanks to his cunning Bond manages to kill Scaramanga and return to England with his "helper" Miss Goodnight.

James Bond si ritrova invischiato in una faccenda alquanto personale: uno spietato pistolero di nome Francisco Scaramanga vuole uccidere proprio 007. All'apparenza sembrerebbe uno dei tanti pazzi che uccidono per piacere, ma questo Scaramanga colpisce le proprie vittime con pallottole d'oro, e anche la pistola che usa è completamente d'oro. Il suo fornitore è un certo Lasar. Essendo un pistolero professionista, Scaramanga non uccide gratis: il prezzo? 1.000.000 $ a vittima, e sono proprio questi soldi che gli permettono, insieme al suo maggiordomo Nick Nack, di passare una vita felice e tranquilla.
Alla fine arriva il duello tra 007 e Scaramanga; Bond grazie alla sua grande furbizia riesce ad uccidere Scaramanga e a tornare in Inghilterra con la sua "aiutante" Miss Goodnight.
