The Maxwell Multiple Climax has recently been invited to several big-screen events, among them, the New Filmmakers Series in New York and the Beverly Hills Hi Def Film Festival (where one of MMCs stars, Bridgetta Tomarchio, is pictured here with the party's sponsor). At the after-parties I inevitably get approached with the question, “But how do they feel?”
It’s a question tinged with skepticism because guys think MMC is about some sub-orgasmic moment, some shade of orgasm the film is hyping as the real thing.
Men experience orgasm as followed by a sudden loss of arousal. It’s this instant desire-drop that makes men skeptical of climaxing again.
Since they happen simultaneously, men think ejaculation and orgasm must be the same thing. Actually, a man’s orgasm starts a split second before. And ejaculation is the mechanism that pulls the kill-switch. So, instead of creating orgasm, emission tells the body to stop orgasming.
Because it takes a couple seconds to kick in, men confuse the kill-switch as the source. Don’t believe me? Think about it. Once the seed is sent, there’s no reason for arousal. You’re out of sperm—the whole reason nature wants you to copulate. So your body signals you to break off till it can be replenished. Hence your sex drive’s sudden exit off the freeway of love.
