    A Taiwanese director is invited to make a film about the story of Salome at the Louvre museum. Even though he can speak neither French nor English, he insists on casting Jean-Pierre Léaud in the role of King Herod. Meanwhile, the film’s publicity-conscious producers have decided that a star model be given the part of Salome.
