As if we were in a small town. An ordinary day in a kid's life. An incredibly hot day. Here everything is unique. One gang. One game. One field. One girl. In the span of one day, how can this boy arrive at such a changing point in his life from which there is no return?
In "Afta", Kornél Mundruczó handles universal themes like growing up and the banality of everyday life for a young boy, which leads to aggression and suppressed rage.
This is strongly recommended to anyone who knows Mundruczó's other works (or anyone who saw Barrio of Fernando León de Aranoa). And recommended for a starter to the rest of you. This is just so damn good.
