Joe loses everything after a drunken driving incident leaves a woman dead. With sexy colleague Juliette, he plans to regain his fortune. They kidnap the boss' son and claim the ransom but his partner is more ruthless than he realised and will stop at nothing.
Erika Eleniak is awesome in her portrayal of Samantha, a woman who's husband is murdered on their wedding day. She then tries to kill herself and she ends up in a psychiatric institution.
I saw this movie on Lifetime Movie Network last night. I had not seen it since I first rented it back in 1998, and my feelings about it had not changed–it is still a very good movie. Eleniak is beautiful and talented and the other principals (Ironside, Colvey, and Bick) are very good in this as well.
This is a nice mystery and I recommend it if you can find it–a good film to watch when you are curled up on the couch on a cold, rainy night.
