Spanning several films in the eighties and nineties, Erotic Ghost Story is a series of Hong Kong erotic period fantasies that that added a lascivious twist to classical supernatural tales. Directed by Ivan Lai, the third instalment of Erotic Ghost Story stars Pauline Chan as the object of desire. Swordsman Chu Chung already has a fiancée, but he becomes enthralled with a beautiful woman in a painting. With the help of a priest, he enters the painting and discovers that the beautiful woman of his dreams, Yi Meng (Pauline Chan), is under the control of the demon Vixen. After narrowly making it out alive, Chu Chung decides to return into the painting to save Yi Meng.
