Nominated for this year's Oscar awards for short animation, 'La Maison en Petits Cubes' tells the story of on old man who, due to rising water, has built his house up and up. After accidentally dropping his pipe into the water, he buys a scuba diving suit to collect it. On his journey down, flashbacks of his family's past poignantly come back to him.
The score accompanies this beautiful animation perfectly and I, for one, am hoping it wins on Sunday.
