Ana starts an affair with her best friend's ex-husband while she looks after her house and her daughter… A film about the search for love, friendship, loneliness, fear, guilt and the world of women.
Lucía, an architect, decides to take a short break with her new partner in Uruguay. They'll come back to spend New Year at home. Ana, one of Lucia's best friends, an actress, single and a few years younger than herself, is left to look after the big house on the outskirts of Buenos Aires, and of Abigail, the 12-year-old daughter Lucía had with Ricky, her ex-husband. Ricky arrives early to pick up his daughter. There he meets Ana for the first time in two years. In a casual and unexpected meeting, Ana and Ricky discover that they are attracted to one another. Or confirm that they always were. We're not sure. Now they're both footloose and fancy-free in what is the house of a friend for one and of his ex-wife for the other. The swimming pool pump broke this morning, and Ana is afraid that the water will be spoiled. Or that everything will be spoiled. Ana and Ricky throw themselves into an intense romance, until the day Lucía comes back.
