An Australian television comedy drama series, Rake season 4, will continue a story of a scandalous and brilliant criminal-defense lawyer named Cleaver Greene. In spite of his unsavory image of a desperate gambler and a party animal, Greene can’t complain on a lack of clients. His services are in great demand among representatives of the criminal underworld. Any case is within Cleaver’s range. He advocates for the rights of his clients with a great firmness and always drives the nail home, getting fantastic lawyer’s fees. In a new season Cleaver continues to help his clients to avoid criminal responsibility, dodging from his own creditors and Australian taxation office.
Episode 1:
Cleaver crashes back into everyone's lives and is reunited with the man who mentored his skills as a barrister. Barney achieves a new level of celebrity which affects his family (ies) as well.

Cleaver's been hiding out in the country posing as a writer, but his cover's blown when Barney appears on Australian Story, complete with images of his best friend. It isn't long before Thompson's goons arrive on the scene.
