Every summer, news agencies report on fires raging in a particular country. Fire causes enormous damage. Firefighters come to the rescue. Literally sliding on the water, the seaplane fills the tanks in a matter of seconds. And now tons of water are again ready to be dumped on the fire … Today, seaplanes are used mainly in emergency situations. But throughout their history, they fought, and carried passengers, and saved people.
Каждое лето информационные агентства сообщают о бушующих в той или иной стране пожарах. Огонь наносит колоссальные убытки. На помощь приходит пожарная авиация. Буквально скользя по воде, гидросамолёт за считанные секунды заполняет баки. И вот тонны воды снова готовы к сбросу на очаг пожара… Сегодня гидросамолёты применяются, главным образом, при чрезвычайных ситуациях. Но за свою историю они и воевали, и возили пассажиров, и спасали людей.
