Ogni mattina, spingendo la sedia a rotelle della madre, Maurizio raggiunge il suo chiosco sulla spiaggia dove tanta gente viene a godersi il meritato riposo settimanale. C'è chi ci capita per caso, chi ci viene ogni anno e c'è chi giura che "questa sarà l'ultima volta".
Maurizio, il proprietario, con tutto il suo daffare deve anche accudire la madre, l'anziana arcigna e capricciosa che lo comanda a bacchetta. Fonte principale del suo guadagno è il pesce fresco, in realtà di dubbia provenienza.
Al chioschetto si beve, si mangia, si fanno quattro chiacchiere con gli sconosciuti, si ammirano le belle ragazze, si sogna e ci si arrabbia. Oppure invece niente, si sta lì, in panciolle a godersi una bella giornata. Si affittano ombrelloni e sdraio, nel prezzo sono compresi anche colazione e pranzo. È un via vai di gente che si scotta al sole, uomini, donne, tipi strani.
Di sera poi il chiosco si svuota e si trasforma totalmente. I bagnanti se ne vanno mentre un po' alla volta si accendono candele, tovaglie bianche vengono stese ai tavoli, volteggiano eleganti camerieri ed il chioschetto si tramuta in un ristorante di classe, Chez Maurice…

Every morning, pushing the wheelchair of his mother, Maurice reaches its kiosk on the beach where so many people come to enjoy a well earned rest weekly. Some people just happen to us, who comes every year and there are those who swear that "this will be the last time."
Maurice, the owner, with all his work cut must also take care of the mother, the old grim and capricious in that the wand controls. His main source of income is the fresh fish, in fact of dubious origin.
At the kiosk you can drink, eat, have a chat with strangers, you can admire the pretty girls, you dream and you are angry. Or rather no, you're there at their ease to enjoy a beautiful day. You can rent umbrellas and chairs, are also included in the price breakfast and lunch. It is a bustle of people getting hot in the sun, men, women, weirdos.
