Quando il clima intorno a lui era diventato troppo pericoloso, Randal aveva pensato bene di ritirarsi e crearsi una nuova vita. Un giorno in un'officina, un vecchio amico gli viene a dire che la vacanza è finita: Kip, suo fratello minore, è rimasto invischiato in un grosso colpo. L'unico che può salvarlo è Randal, accettando di tornare in pista per un ultimo colpo: rubare cinquanta auto nel giro di una notte. Randal non può fare altro che accettare, e comincia cercando di mettere insieme una squadra di collaboratori. Vengono così contattati ed 'ingaggiati' alcuni vecchi amici, quali Atley, Donny, Toby, e altri. Punto fermo e garanzia dell'operazione è Otto, il più anziano, che farà da coordinatore restando nel capannone-base con l'elenco delle macchina da rubare. Al momento di iniziare le operazioni, Randal va a trovare Sara, il grande amore della sua vita, che però non vuole più avere a che fare con lui. Solo più tardi, la ragazza entra nel gruppo, e la sua presenza si rivela utilissima. Tra vetrine in frantumi e inseguimenti in luoghi impossibili a velocità da formula 1, Randal ottiene il successo. Può così presentarsi trionfante al cattivo Calitri e ottenere il rilascio del fratello. Randal e Kip si abbracciano.

Car theft in Long Beach went down 47% when Randall "Memphis" Raines walked away from the life. He gets dragged back into it by assuming the job his brother Kip screwed up for stolen-car broker Raymond Calitri: steal 50 exotic cars and have them on a container ship by 8 AM Friday morning, and he got this news on a Monday. With Calitri threatening to kill him and Kip, and the police GRAB unit breathing down his neck, Memphis reassembles his old crew and attempts to pull off the logistically impossible.

Recovery Volumes (.rev)
Recovery volumes or .rev files are special files which can be created by WinRAR/RAR and allow you to reconstruct missing and damaged files in a volume set. They can
only be used with multi-volume archives.
This feature may be useful for backups or, for example, when you post a multivolume archive to a newsgroup and some of the subscribers did not receive some files. Reposting recovery volumes instead of usual volumes may reduce the total number of files to repost.
Each recovery volume is able to reconstruct one missing RAR volume. For example, if you have 30 volumes and 3 recovery volumes, you are able to reconstruct any 3 missing volumes. If the number of .rev files is less than a number of missing volumes, reconstructing is impossible. The total number of usual and recovery volumes must not exceed 255 and the number of recovery volumes must be less than the number of RAR volumes.
WinRAR reconstructs missing and damaged volumes either when clicking on .rev file, or when using rc command or automatically, if it cannot locate the next volume and finds the required number of .rev files when unpacking.
You may use the "Recovery volumes" option in the Archive name and parameters dialog or a similar option also appears in the Protect archive command to create recovery volumes. In the command line mode you may do it with -rv switch or rv command.
Original copies of damaged volumes are renamed to *.bad before reconstruction. For example, volname.part03.rar will be renamed to volname.part03.rar.bad.
