A Palermo, dopo alcuni anni, dal carcere minorile escono alcuni giovanissimi piccoli criminali: Antonio, padre di due bambini, venditore abusivo e spacciatore di droga per caso, costretto un giorno a vedersi requisire la merce e il furgoncino; Natale, condannato per aver vendicato il padre, cerca lavoro ma, nonostante l'interessamento del fratello Salvatore, non lo trova per il suo passato; Mery, il travestito, in attesa di processo, si prostituisce e vive con un altro come lui e non ne vuole sapere di smettere la sua squallida vita anche se sua madre cerca di farlo ravvedere e un'assistente sociale vorrebbe aiutarlo. Inoltre c'è Claudio che, trovata all'uscita dal carcere a Napoli la fidanzata Vita, con lei torna a Palermo ed è costretto a sposarsi poichè la ragazza è incinta. Tutto andrebbe bene a Claudio col suo lavoro di meccanico se a cercarlo non venisse Carmelo, ex compagno di prigione, per picchiarlo a sangue per uno sgarbo subito nel penitenziario. Tra costoro, che vivono di espedienti, di piccoli affarucci poco puliti, di furtarelli, c'è anche il giovane Chin Cong il quale, sorpreso da una pattuglia a rubare un'autoradio, viene inseguito per lungo tempo da un poliziotto che, alla fine, esasperato lo blocca e gli spara un colpo alla nuca di fronte alla gente esterefatta di un mercatino.

Young men with no future have little in the present as well. Natale is released from prison: he takes up with his friends again but none can find work. Claudio, from Palermo, gets out of juvenile detention in Naples and he's met by Vita, a girl who's come from home to run away with him. Where can they go? A young dad, whose potato stall at the market is shut down because he has no permit, takes his two small children to the beach and yells at them. Mario, gay, a prostitute in drag, gets a visit from his mom; he offers tea, then finds the water to his apartment is shut off. Social workers drop by, parole officers file reports. What hope is there? What options besides crime?

Recovery Volumes (.rev)
Recovery volumes or .rev files are special files which can be created by WinRAR/RAR and allow you to reconstruct missing and damaged files in a volume set. They can
only be used with multi-volume archives.
This feature may be useful for backups or, for example, when you post a multivolume archive to a newsgroup and some of the subscribers did not receive some files. Reposting recovery volumes instead of usual volumes may reduce the total number of files to repost.
Each recovery volume is able to reconstruct one missing RAR volume. For example, if you have 30 volumes and 3 recovery volumes, you are able to reconstruct any 3 missing volumes. If the number of .rev files is less than a number of missing volumes, reconstructing is impossible. The total number of usual and recovery volumes must not exceed 255 and the number of recovery volumes must be less than the number of RAR volumes.
WinRAR reconstructs missing and damaged volumes either when clicking on .rev file, or when using rc command or automatically, if it cannot locate the next volume and finds the required number of .rev files when unpacking.
You may use the "Recovery volumes" option in the Archive name and parameters dialog or a similar option also appears in the Protect archive command to create recovery volumes. In the command line mode you may do it with -rv switch or rv command.
Original copies of damaged volumes are renamed to *.bad before reconstruction. For example, volname.part03.rar will be renamed to volname.part03.rar.bad.
