La Oveja Negra (1949)

The relationship between family patriarch Cruz Treviño Martínez (Fernando Soler) and his son, Silvano (Pedro Infante), unravels when Dad flaunts his philandering with young beauties – including Silvano's ex-girlfriend (Dalia Iñiguez). While Cruz runs around acting like a young buck, Silvano tries to end the affair in this classic Mexican drama also starring Andrés Soler and Amanda del Llano.

Propelled to fame during the Golden Age of Mexican cinema, Pedro Infante was one of the country's biggest stars. Nicknamed El Idolo, the dashing actor had a prolific film career that boasted over 60 pictures. Tragically, Infante died in a plane crash in 1957, breaking the hearts of millions of fans and abruptly bringing to an end, some say, this boom period for Mexico's film industry. In this release from the COLECCION DE ORO, however, his legacy lives on. LA OVEJA NEGRA tells the story of a young man (Infante) burdened by his womanizing father.

En un tiempo, Pedro Infante fue reconocido como el mejor actor del mundo, pero en esta película, Fernando Soler se lleva todos los galardones. La producción pasó meses enteros aprendiendo los modismos de la gente del Norte de México, en especial Nuevo León. Los Soler y Pedro pasaron tiempo en Linares, N.L aprendiendo el lenguaje norteño y sus idiosincracias, todo muy diferente al resto de México; asimismo, la continuación," No desearás la mujer de tu hijo" se lleva a cualquier película contemporánea. Estos dos filmes, hoy en día ganarían los Oscares a las mejores películas extranjeras.

Es una película bastante buena, en donde el padre (Fernando Soler) es el clásico hombre machista e impositivo y que está acostumbrado a hacer lo que le venga en gana y no se da cuenta que su hijo (Pedro Infante) ha crecido. Divertida historia ranchera.
Se las recomiendo.
