    Le célèbre conte musical de Serge Prokofiev est merveilleusement adapté par Suzie Templeton qui a imaginé un monde d'images fantastiques inspirées de la Russie rurale du début du XXe siècle.
    Dans cet univers féerique et hostile, les loups dévorent les canards ; le petit Pierre qui vit seul avec son grand-père à la campagne, est mis à rude épreuve. Mais le gamin, poussé par un drôle d'oiseau et accompagné de son canard rêveur, fait preuve d'un courage extraordinaire et parvient à vaincre le loup.
