Introduction to High Power Pulse Technology (Advanced Series in Electrical and Computer Engineering)

    S. T. Pai,&nbspQi Zhang"Introduction to High Power Pulse Technology"
    World Scientific Publishing Company | ISBN 9810217145 | 1995-07 | PDF | 307 pages | 9.5 MB

This book is designed primarily to meet two objectives. It is intended to serve as a textbook for a one-semester university course for graduate or senior undergraduate students in the physical sciences, electrical engineering and other related disciplines, or it may be used as a reference book for those who are working in the field. For those intending to use the book for self-study, a general knowledge of electromagnetism, electrical circuitry and plasma and discharge physics is necessary. In order to meet these diverse objectives, the authors have attempted to make the book reasonably compact so that it can fit in a one-semester schedule while retaining its comprehensiveness in serving as a reference book. The contents are arranged so that theory and practice are proportionally balanced and each topic consists of essentially four basic elements: fundamental principles, mathematical expressions and formulas, examples and illustrations, numerical data and applications. In order to keep its compactness, lengthy theoretical discussions and detailed mathematical derivations are avoided whenever possible.

    Understanding Delta-Sigma Data Converters
    Wiley-IEEE Press (2004-11-08) | ISBN: 0471465852 | 464 Pages | 8.47 MB | PDF

Learn how to harness the power of delta-sigma data converters
Understanding Delta-Sigma Data Converters brings readers a clear understanding of the principles of delta-sigma (ΔΣ) converter operation—analog to digital and digital to analog. It introduces the best computer-aided analysis and design techniques available. With an understanding of the great versatility of the ΔΣ converter, readers can apply their new knowledge to a wide variety of applications, including digital telephony, digital audio, wireless and wired communications, medical electronics, and industrial and scientific instrumentation. The authors make the material accessible to all design engineers by focusing on developing an understanding of the physical operation rather than getting mired in complex mathematical treatments and derivations.

    CRC (2003-04-22) | ISBN: 0824704967 | 768 Pages | 8.9 MB | PDF

Monopole Antennas provides an industry standard for the modeling, testing, and application of airborne and ground-based monopole antennas. This book, with more than double the content of the author's previous, sold-out book, Monopole Elements on Circular Ground Planes, includes structures in proximity to flat Earth in addition to those in free space of the earlier book. It also features state-of-the-art numerical methods, including Richmond's method of moments for disk ground planes and the Lawrence Livermore Laboratory's Numerical Electomagnetic Code for radial-wire ground planes. An accompanying CD contains the computer programs discusses in the appendices.
