The President of the USA goes to Moscow and gives a stirring speech outlining the USA's new "Zero-tolerance" policy with respect to terrorism. On the flight home, terrorists take over Air Force One (the President's official plane) and take the passengers (including his wife and daughter) hostage. The terrorists plan to execute one hostage every half-hour unless/until their demands are met. However, the President is a former Medal of Honor winner, so the terrorists may be in for a surprise…

College student Lewis decides to drive across the country to see Venna, a friend who doesn't know that Lewis is interested in her romantically. Unfortunately for his plans, Lewis gets saddled with his raucous-spirited older brother, Fuller, whose on-the-road pranks get the brothers and Venna sucked into a nightmare when a psychotic truckdriver takes offense.

Été 1969. Les frères Paul et Jacques Rose et leur ami Francis Simard débarquent à Percé afin d'ouvrir La Maison du pêcheur, un lieu de rencontre pour les habitants du coin ayant pour but de promouvoir l'indépendance du Québec. Des jeunes de partout viennent camper sur les lieux. Le jeune Bernard, fils de pêcheur des environs, s'intéresse au groupe malgré les réticences de sa fiancée Geneviève. Alors que les autorités, menées par le propriétaire d'un camping voisin, tentent de faire fuir les trois membres du RIN, ces derniers définissent leur future action politique qui mènera à leur arrestation à l'automne 1970.

The story begins with Speed Racer who is a young man with natural racing instincts whose goal is to win The Crucible, a cross-country car racing rally that took the life of his older brother, Rex Racer. Speed is loyal to the family business, run by his parents Pops and Mom. Pops designed Speed's car, the Mach 5.

The Earth's core has stopped spinning. Das Verhältnis von Conrad (Florian David Fitz) zu seinem Vater Carl (Henry Hübchen) war noch nie besonders gut. Als Kind wünschte sich Conrad eine Welt wie in der Werbung, mit fröhlichen, freundlichen Menschen. Das Gegenteil hatte er zuhause, mit einem tyrannischen Vater, der vom Sohn immer nur Leistung forderte. Zwar hat Conrad als Erfinder der "Flüsterschublade" längst ein Vermögen mit eben dieser gemacht und eine eigene Familie gegründet. Doch das Verhältnis zu seinem Erzeuger hat sich nicht gebessert. "Bohnenstange" nennt dieser Conrads Gattin, die taffe Geschäftsfrau Tamara (Thekla Reuten), "Eierkopf" den pubertierenden Enkel Jonas (Marius Haas).

Bob et Ruth s’aiment, envers et contre tout. Et surtout contre la loi. Un jour, un braquage tourne mal et les deux amants sont pris dans une fusillade. Quand Bob est emmené par la police, Ruth a tout juste le temps de lui annoncer qu’elle est enceinte. Dès lors, Bob n’aura qu’une obsession : s’échapper de prison pour rejoindre sa femme et son enfant.
