Alien Earths goes beyond our solar system to discover planets so strange we never could have predicted them before.
Science is at long last within grasp of one of its "holy grails" – the location of an alien Earth. In the search for this intergalactic haven, astronomers have been shocked by the wide variety of planets around other nearby stars. Some are types of planets totally unknown before this past decade including monstrous gas giants, massive "water worlds", and hulking "super earths" three to five times more massive than our own planet. Scientists have discovered odd ways planets behave: one world is on a highly elliptical orbit, while some planets may have escaped their parent stars altogether, adrift in the murky lanes of the Milky Way. Some planets are so strange we never would have predicted them before, like the planetary zombies that arise from the supernova graves of dead stars. And the question that haunts each of these strange worlds is "can life exist there?" In many cases the answer is no but, on some worlds, the answer might be different. With the launch of the Kepler mission, astronomers expect to find at last, Earth's twin – an alien Earth.

Two girls are driving home when their car breaks down in the country. They are kidnapped by a gang of drug-crazed hippies, and repeatedly raped. They escape, but soon run into a death cult who plan to gang-rape the girls, then kill them. Meanwhile, the father of one of the girls gets the police to begin an investigation into their disappearance.

Promoted as France's first gore film, Revenge of the Living Dead Girls (La revanche des mortes-vivantes) is a consumate shocker of horror and sex that as grown into a legend as being one of the sickest and most perverse of zombie films.

In 1880, Osawkie, Kansas is feuding with rival town Mandaroon over which will be county seat, keeping the town's men away from home most of the time. The last straw is when Matt Davis feels compelled to go on a new foray on his wedding night; his bride Liza (just call her Lysistrata) takes teacher Cassie's advice and organizes a marital strike to make the men-folk stop their nonsense.

In many ways autobiographical, Henrik Ibsen’s The Master Builder is a spectacular tale of the fall from grace. It is a tale of greed and betrayal, love and infidelity, kings and pawns – in short, all those titillating elements which so many seek in soaps, but told with the uncompromising literary intensity of one of the 19th Century’s greatest playwrites.

British Sexploitation/Sex Comedy. Lord Wingate, aquitted after appearing in court for fraud, starts up a 'finishing school' to teach girls how to extract money from rich men, in return for a percentage of their gains. He enlists the help of the Duchess of Burwood (Alcoholic Aristocrat played by Rose Alba) as a teacher and Hector (Cockney Geezer played by Nosher Powell) as fitness instructor. A probation officer friend supplies the first batch of pupils fresh from Holloway prison via a clapped out old mini bus.

Cynthia Kyle enters puberty with a vengeance, murdering her parents as they make love: she's wanted her father to love only her. Eight years later, she's free and wants to marry, but nightmares plague her so she seeks psychiatric help. The doctor asks her to describe a dream: it's long and elaborate with dreams within dreams of Lucifer, Hell, and her parents in various guises. To shed her guilt, the shrink recommends that she commit suicide in her next dream. In it, she falls in love with an artist who reminds her of her father, responds to a woman who finds her attractive, and celebrates her first school-yard kiss. The dream takes her back to her parents' bedside. Is any cure possible?

The action in this routine adventure film would be modeled on the enormously successful Indiana Jones but it is too much, too fast, too deja vu. It all starts when Jessie Huston (Sharon Stone, before stardom) talks adventurer Allen Quatermain (Richard Chamberlain) into helping her find her father, an archaeologist. He has been kidnapped in Africa by a Turk (John Rhys-Davies) and a German colonel (Herbert Lom) who are determined to extract the secret location of King Solomon's mines from the stubborn man. As Jessie and Quatermain head off into the unknown, there are crocodiles, lions, and other human beasts to conquer before the father or the mines hove into view. A sequel was soon to follow.
