I was fortunate to attend a special early screening of the Nepali film "HALKARA," organized by MovieLovers. Directed by Bikram Sapkota, this cinematic gem breaks free from mainstream formulas, delivering an exceptional movie experience.
The cinematography by Chintan Rajbhandari is breathtaking, capturing the beauty of Nepal. Mahesh Tripathi and Binita Thapa Magar deliver powerhouse performances, and the gripping storyline keeps viewers engaged. Sapkota's non-linear storytelling adds intrigue.
"HALKARA" is a must-watch despite its minor flaws. While it may not be a perfect film, its stunning visuals, outstanding acting, captivating story, and innovative storytelling make it a standout in the Nepali film industry. Kudos to the filmmakers for their groundbreaking work.
