Mini-series about the founder of psychoanalysis - is exemplary British biopic, made with excellent taste and sense of proportion. The authors have highlighted the relationship with Freud's daughter Anna, because of what history has become at once the human dimension. It's no secret that the "great and terrible" doctor himself was from the trauma and clamps, to deal with that, and composed his legendary technique. He was their main patient. Almost all socially useful things can be obtained from a purely personal involvement. And the benefit, at least, the significance of psychoanalysis for the past century - an axiom that does not require proof.
In an interview with the literary magazine "Strand" David Suchet admitted that although Hercule Poirot and remains the main cause of his life, he never eclipse the role of Sigmund Freud, played in mid-1980.
