Surintendant des finances du roi, découvreur des plus grands artistes du XVIIème siècle,et bâtisseur du splendide château de Vaux le Vicomte Fouquet a connu une ascension fulgurante et l’une des chutes les plus vertigineuses de l’Histoire. Accusé du jour au lendemain d’avoir volé et trompé le roi, il finira sa vie entre les murs glacials d’une prison. Une fin tragique qui reste, attachée à l’incroyable fête que Nicolas Fouquet donne dans son château de Vaux le Vicomte, le 17 Aout 1661. À l’occasion des 350 ans de cette fête légendaire, Stéphane Bern nous emmène au cœur du bal commémoratif donné au château de Vaux le Vicomte, au milieu des danseurs et des musiciens baroques !
