Kean Kavanagh - The County Star (2025) [Official Digital Download]

Irish artist Kean Kavanagh has shared plans for his debut album ‘The County Star’.
The multi-faceted artist signalled his return this month, inaugurating a new chapter in his art. Moving forwards, Kean Kavanagh blends fact and fiction, tradition and modernity on his upcoming debut LP.

Out on June 6th via new label Heaven-Sent, ‘The County Star’ peers into Irish identity, the fly-on-the-wall lyricism matching vivid world-building to personal revelation.

New single ‘A Cowboy Song’ is a plaintive chugger, it’s slightly surreal feel matched to Kean’s empathetic vocal.

The video is part of a multi-aspect series – directed by Kojaque (Soft Boy) and Robert Bass (Chamomile Club), the clip expands on the world of small-town Elvis, Pa ‘The Hips’ Campion (played by Peter McGann), first introduced with ‘The Whistle‘ earlier this month.
